RuckUp Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the RuckUp mobile app and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by [company name, tax ID, address] ("we"). By registering or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service is

RuckUp is a platform for billiards players and clubs: signing up for tournaments, clubs running tournaments, duels with friends, the PTS rating and XP levels, chat and notifications.

2. Your account

• To register, you provide a valid email address, a username and a phone number. Sign-in is confirmed with a one-time code sent to your email.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure (password, email). If you suspect someone else has signed in, change your password right away and let us know.
• Each person may have only one player account. Creating several accounts to inflate a rating is not allowed.
• Club accounts can run tournaments once an administrator has approved them.

3. Ratings, duels and tournaments

• The PTS rating is calculated from official tournament results and PTS duels approved by a club. Falsifying results, fixed games or any other manipulation of the rating is prohibited; results may then be cancelled and the account blocked.
• A PTS duel can only be started at a club: to check this, the app reads your current location once.
• Tournament terms (date, rules, entry fee, prizes) are set by the club running it. Payments and prizes are settled between the club and the player; RuckUp does not take payments and is not responsible for them.

4. Conduct

Not allowed: abusive, threatening or discriminatory messages; spam; acting on behalf of another person; interfering with the Service, exploiting vulnerabilities or collecting other users' data. Violations may lead to content removal and account blocking.

5. Content

Content you upload (photos, messages, club details) remains yours. You give us a free, revocable permission to show it through the Service. Do not upload content you do not have the rights to.

6. Deleting your account

7. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We cannot guarantee that it will run without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for events run by clubs, arrangements between players, or indirect damages.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; we will notify you of significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
